Gniewomir Tomczyk
Master of percussion
He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Bialystok. Currently he is in the diploma year of the J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. Winner of the 1st Prize at the "Drum Battle" National Festival of Rhythm. He participated in prestigious music festivals in Poland and abroad (e.g. Open’er Festival, Orange Warsaw Festival, Męskie Granie, Off Camera, Crazy Music Days). He has performed many times on the Polish Radio and Television (i.e. Świat się Kręci, Pegaz Scena Alternatywna shows). He has collaborated and performed with well-known artists, including Reni Jusis, Paulina Przybysz. He permanently collaborates with XXANAXX electronic band, and Daniel Bloom – film music composer. He released his debut album called Event Horizon. He leads his own band called "Gniewomir Tomczyk / Project". He creates music for dance performances and choreographies, i.a. on the stage of the Grand Theater in Warsaw.
